G. Ballard ve sv\u00e9m rom\u00e1nu Boura\u010dka            blouznil o t\u0159eskut\u00e9m spojen\u00ed lidsk\u00e9ho t\u011bla a stroje, australsk\u00fd um\u011blec            Stelarc (p\u016fvodn\u00edm jm\u00e9nem Stelios Arcadiou) prom\u011bnil tento sen ve            skute\u010dnost. T\u011b\u017eko byste na\u0161li n\u011bjak\u00e9ho \u010dlov\u011bka, kter\u00fd by byl v\u00edce            polokyborgem, futuristick\u00fdm kyberpunkerem, ne\u017e pades\u00e1tilet\u00fd Stelarc,            kter\u00fd \u017eije na rozhran\u00ed s budoucnost\u00ed v\u00edc, ne\u017e se v\u011bt\u0161in\u011b mlad\u00fdch            kybe\u0159an\u016f v\u016fbec m\u016f\u017ee zd\u00e1t. Stelarca bychom mohli voln\u011b ozna\u010dit za            p\u0159edstavitele bodyartu. Jeho t\u011blo je pro n\u011bj pracovn\u00edm n\u00e1strojem i            surovinou z\u00e1rove\u0148. Sv\u00e9 performance rozd\u011bluje do dvou skupin &#8211; na            fyzicky nepohodln\u00e9 a na technicky komplikovan\u00e9 K t\u011bm prvn\u00edm pat\u0159\u00ed akce            z prvn\u00ed poloviny 80. let, p\u0159i nich\u017e si nechal prop\u00edchat k\u016f\u017ei h\u00e1\u010dky a            pak se zav\u011bsit nah\u00fd nad ru\u0161nou ulici. Bolest mu ani tak nevadila jako            panick\u00fd strach z v\u00fd\u0161ek. V roce 1979 jste ho mohli naj\u00edt v tokijsk\u00e9            galerii Tamura, sev\u0159en\u00e9ho mezi dv\u011b d\u0159ev\u011bn\u00e9 desky, se se\u0161it\u00fdmi \u00fasty i            v\u00ed\u010dky. Na n\u011bkolikahodinov\u00e9 nepohodl\u00ed byl p\u0159ipraven, ale pr\u00fd zoufale            trp\u011bl, kdy\u017e nemohl se se\u0161it\u00fdmi \u00fasty z\u00edvnout. Nejnep\u0159\u00edjemn\u011bj\u0161\u00edm            z\u00e1\u017eitkem byla jeho \u00fa\u010dast na socha\u0159sk\u00e9 v\u00fdstav\u011b, kde se pokusil            p\u0159edv\u00e9st, \u017ee sochy mohou zab\u00edrat minimum prostoru, kdy\u017e se vystav\u00ed            uvnit\u0159 lidsk\u00e9ho t\u011bla. Nechal si do \u017ealudku zapustit kapsli vyrobenou            ze vz\u00e1cn\u00fdch kov\u016f, kter\u00e1 se v jeho \u00fatrob\u00e1ch rozev\u00edrala a zav\u00edrala, to            v\u0161e pod dohledem minikamery. Jeho performance v\u0161ak \u010d\u00edm d\u00e1l v\u00edce            z\u00edsk\u00e1valy technologick\u00fd obsah, Stelarc nech\u00e1v\u00e1 sv\u00e9 t\u011blo obr\u016fstat            technologi\u00ed. P\u0159edv\u00e1d\u00ed podivn\u00e9 tance s t\u011blem napojen\u00fdm na internet,            v\u0161echny sv\u00e9 finance investuje do v\u00fdvoje nov\u00fdch rozhran\u00ed \u010dlov\u011bk\/stroj.            Mark Dery, p\u0159edn\u00ed koment\u00e1tor kyberkultury, o n\u011bm napsal: Se sv\u00fdm            Zn\u00e1soben\u00fdm t\u011blem, Laserov\u00fdma o\u010dima, T\u0159et\u00ed rukou, Automatickou pa\u017e\u00ed a            Video-st\u00ednem p\u0159edstavuje hybrid \u010dlov\u011bka a stroje, kter\u00fdm se my v\u0161ichni            metaforicky st\u00e1v\u00e1me. T\u011blo \u010dlov\u011bka se            \u00fa\u017easn\u00fdm zp\u016fsobem zrychlilo a operuje ve zna\u010dn\u011b rozs\u00e1hl\u00e9m prostoru.            K\u016f\u017ee u\u017e nen\u00ed na\u0161\u00edm rozhran\u00edm se sv\u011btem, fyzick\u00e9 t\u011blo se prom\u011b\u0148uje v            neust\u00e1le se p\u0159el\u00e9vaj\u00edc\u00ed fant\u00f3m.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<strong>Kdo m\u011bl na va\u0161e pojet\u00ed bodyartu            nejv\u011bt\u0161\u00ed vliv?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Byli to hlavn\u011b John Cage, Stockhausen, Andy            Warhol, Christo, Marshall McLuhan, Paul Virilio, Jean Baudrillard,            NASA, l\u00e9ka\u0159sk\u00e9 technologie a pokroky v robotice a protetice.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><br \/>\nKybernetika k sob\u011b hodn\u011b p\u0159ibl\u00ed\u017eila            oblast v\u011bdy a um\u011bn\u00ed. J\u00e1 osobn\u011b            nejsem v\u016fbec bohat\u00fd \u010dlov\u011bk, \u017eiv\u00edm se jen um\u011bn\u00edm. M\u00e1m n\u011bkolik p\u0159\u00e1tel,            kte\u0159\u00ed mi pom\u00e1haj\u00ed s tvorbou softwaru. S hardwarem mi pom\u00e1haj\u00ed zase            jin\u00ed lid\u00e9. Vlastn\u011b ka\u017ed\u00e9 vystoupen\u00ed je mo\u017en\u00e9 jen d\u00edky skupin\u011b            nad\u0161enc\u016f, kte\u0159\u00ed pro m\u011b pracuj\u00ed za minim\u00e1ln\u00ed plat. M\u016fj projekt            \u0161estinoh\u00e9ho robota by nebyl mo\u017en\u00fd bez finan\u010dn\u00edho zabezpe\u010den\u00ed jednoho            hambursk\u00e9ho um\u011bleck\u00e9ho centra, jin\u00e9 p\u0159\u00edstroje v hodnot\u011b 16 000 marek            dodalo jedno n\u011bmeck\u00e9 zdravotnick\u00e9 za\u0159\u00edzen\u00ed.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<strong>Kolik nap\u0159\u00edklad st\u00e1la va\u0161e um\u011bl\u00e1 ruka?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Pracovalo se na n\u00ed \u010dty\u0159i roky a st\u00e1la m\u011b dvacet            tis\u00edc dolar\u016f. Vyrobili ji v Japonsku. Ru\u010dn\u00ed pr\u00e1ce. St\u00e1le vlastn\u011b nen\u00ed            hotov\u00e1, p\u016fvodn\u011b m\u011bla je\u0161t\u011b rotovat kolem m\u00e9 pa\u017ee, zat\u00edmco te\u010f je na ni            fixov\u00e1na. Je to \u010d\u00e1ste\u010dn\u011b proto, \u017ee mi do\u0161ly pen\u00edze, a tak\u00e9 proto, \u017ee s            dal\u0161\u00edmi motory by u\u017e byla p\u0159\u00edli\u0161 t\u011b\u017ek\u00e1.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<strong>Dvacet let jste str\u00e1vil v Japonsku. Co            v\u00e1s tam p\u0159ivedlo?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Kdy\u017e jsem vyr\u016fstal, z\u00edskal jsem z\u00e1padn\u00ed            vzd\u011bl\u00e1n\u00ed, p\u0159ijal jsem z\u00e1padn\u00ed hodnoty. C\u00edtil jsem ale touhu za\u017e\u00edt            orient\u00e1ln\u00ed kulturu, kter\u00e1 pro m\u011b byla velmi ciz\u00ed. Impulzivn\u011b jsem se            rozhodl vycestovat do Japonska. Jednak kv\u016fli jeho kultu\u0159e, ale i            proto, \u017ee je to zem\u011b \u0161pi\u010dkov\u00fdch technologi\u00ed. P\u016fvodn\u011b jsem tam cht\u011bl            z\u016fstat jen p\u00e1r let, ale nakonec to byla dv\u011b desetilet\u00ed. Japonsk\u00e1            kultura, optimistick\u00e9 vyu\u017eit\u00ed technologi\u00ed, manga comicsy, z\u00e1pasy            sumo&#8230;<br \/>\nto v\u0161echno zbo\u017e\u0148uju.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><br \/>\nM\u016f\u017eete jmenovat n\u011bjak\u00e9 fale\u0161n\u00e9 m\u00fdty,            kter\u00e9 o Japonsku vl\u00e1dnou v z\u00e1padn\u00ed kultu\u0159e?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Japonsk\u00e1 kultura se v posledn\u00edm desetilet\u00ed            dramaticky zm\u011bnila, Japonci jsou tak\u00e9 fyzicky mnohem v\u011bt\u0161\u00ed ne\u017e d\u0159\u00edve,            proto\u017ee maj\u00ed nyn\u00ed jin\u00fd j\u00eddeln\u00ed\u010dek. Nen\u00ed tak docela pravda, \u017ee maj\u00ed            skupinovou mentalitu, zvl\u00e1\u0161t\u011b mlad\u00ed lid\u00e9 jsou nyn\u00ed v\u00edce            individualisti\u010dt\u00ed. P\u0159esto tu ur\u010dit\u00e1 skupinov\u00e1 mentalita je, ale vznik\u00e1            na z\u00e1klad\u011b v\u0161eobecn\u00e9ho souhlasu, nikoliv kompromisu. Dal\u0161\u00edm m\u00fdtem je            to, \u017ee \u017eivot v Japonsku je extr\u00e9mn\u011b drah\u00fd. Samoz\u0159ejm\u011b, kdy\u017e budete            j\u00edst z\u00e1padn\u00ed j\u00eddlo a budete bydlet v z\u00e1padn\u00edch hotel\u00edch, je to tam            pekeln\u011b drah\u00e9. Ale kdy\u017e budete bydlet v mal\u00e9m hot\u00fdlku a stravovat se v            su\u0161i barech, n\u00e1klady na \u017eivot zas nejsou tak velk\u00e9. Fascinuje m\u011b            japonsk\u00e1 dynamika technologick\u00e9ho rozvoje. Japonsk\u00e1 technologie je tak            sexy, tak sv\u016fdn\u00e1 a tak dokonal\u00e1.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<strong>Sv\u00e9 manifesty p\u00ed\u0161ete specifick\u00fdm,            tak\u0159ka postmodern\u00edm akademick\u00fdm jazykem. Je to proto, \u017ee jinak            nedok\u00e1\u017eete vyj\u00e1d\u0159it to, co chcete?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">M\u016fj zp\u016fsob psan\u00ed vych\u00e1z\u00ed z m\u00e9ho chov\u00e1n\u00ed, z m\u00fdch            akc\u00ed, na rozd\u00edl od akademik\u016f, kte\u0159\u00ed o technologii jen spekuluj\u00ed z            tepla sv\u00fdch kancel\u00e1\u0159\u00ed. Osobn\u011b pova\u017euji my\u0161lenky za velice snadn\u00e9 a            levn\u00e9 z\u00e1le\u017eitosti. Mnohem obt\u00ed\u017en\u011bj\u0161\u00ed je prov\u00e9st n\u011bjak\u00fd \u010din, kter\u00fd            vyvol\u00e1 nov\u00e9 diskursy, nov\u00e9 strategie a novou estetiku.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<strong>Pou\u017e\u00edv\u00e1te r\u00e1d slovo trajektorie, m\u00e1te            r\u00e1d prot\u00e9zy a rozhran\u00ed \u010dlov\u011bk-stroj&#8230; \u010dtete r\u00e1d J. G. Ballarda?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Abych pravdu \u0159ekl, nic jsem od n\u011bj ne\u010detl.            Douf\u00e1m, \u017ee to nen\u00ed zlo\u010din. Od doby, kdy jsem skon\u010dil st\u0159edn\u00ed \u0161kolu,            jsem moc science fiction nep\u0159e\u010detl. Samoz\u0159ejm\u011b jsem \u010detl Gibsona.            Nikdy jsem ale nec\u00edtil velkou pot\u0159ebu \u010d\u00edst sci-fi, sp\u00ed\u0161e jsem se v\u017edy            zaj\u00edmal o literaturu faktu. O evolu\u010dn\u00ed teorii, filozofii, biologii,            teorie o robotice a kognitivn\u00edch v\u011bd\u00e1ch. Nepot\u0159ebuji podn\u011bty ze            science fiction.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<strong>M\u011bl jsem pocit, \u017ee v n\u011bkter\u00fdch va\u0161ich            my\u0161lenk\u00e1ch pozn\u00e1v\u00e1m Ballardovu Boura\u010dku&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Popravd\u011b \u0159e\u010deno, \u0161el jsem se pod\u00edvat na ten            film, ale hrozn\u011b m\u011b nudil, tak\u017ee jsem je\u0161t\u011b p\u0159ed p\u016flkou ode\u0161el. To            t\u00e9ma mi zn\u011blo l\u00e1kav\u011b, p\u0159irozen\u011b \u017ee m\u011b zaj\u00edmaj\u00ed kontakty t\u011bla a stroje,            jejich erotick\u00e9 aspekty, prot\u00e9zy a v\u0161echny tyhle v\u011bci. Bohu\u017eel, nem\u00e1m            p\u0159\u00edli\u0161 na\u010dteno z beletrie. N\u011bkdo m\u011b nap\u0159\u00edklad upozornil, \u017ee mu m\u016fj            projekt s \u0161estinoh\u00fdm robotem p\u0159ipom\u00edn\u00e1 Kafkovu Prom\u011bnu.
